How to share a states I’ve been to map
Mint a PlacesLit share link, preview the Open Graph card, and download a 9:16 Reel / TikTok poster.
Share studio is on the map, not a separate product. Landscape is the Open Graph size for the /s link. Reel / TikTok is 1080×1920 and is the default. PlacesLit never posts to Instagram or TikTok. Private share pages are noindex and disallowed in robots.txt.
Step 1
Finish marking the US map
Paint Visited / Lived / Want on the US map. D.C. is optional and stays off /50.
Step 2
Open Share studio
Tap Share. Studio defaults to Reel / TikTok (1080×1920). Landscape is the link-preview size.
Step 3
Copy the /s link
Copy share link mints an unguessable /s/[id] URL. Anyone with the link can open that map. The page is noindex.
Step 4
Download the 9:16 Reel
Tap Download Reel (9:16) and upload the PNG to Instagram Reels or TikTok yourself. PlacesLit never auto-posts.

Tap Share in the black header. Studio opens on Reel / TikTok (9:16).
