PlacesLit is a free visited-places map. There is no account to mark states or countries, and no paid tier in this product. Gold is Visited, off-white is Lived, dashed gold is Want. The US score is N / 50. Washington, D.C. can be marked and never pads that total.

The world surface is live: 177 countries, same three statuses. Share mints an unguessable /s link with an Open Graph card. Share studio defaults to a 9:16 Reel / TikTok poster you download and upload yourself. PlacesLit does not post to Instagram or TikTok.

The studio lives on the home page. /map/us and /map/world are durable landings that open the same app in the right mode. Private shares stay noindex. There is no state or country URL farm.
